andrew
Andrew Evans
Life outside of Nova Scotia is difficult for Andrew to understand. From the silly to the socially relevant, nothing escapes this sarcastic Maritimer’s look at big city and pop culture absurdities. After making an appearance on Open Mic with Mike Bullard, Mike likened him to “Don Harron”. Ben Guyatt of Comedy at Club 54 fame says, “Andrew has a fresh approach to comedy-combining the absurd with the cerebral, always resulting in a great solid set…  After winning the Laugh Resort’s funniest person with a day job competition in Toronto, Andrew was invited to perform for the first time at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. He has since performed at the Halifax Comedy Fest and the Prince Edward Island Comedy Fest, appeared on Much Music’s hit show, Video on Trial, been recorded for CBC radio's "So you think you're funny?" and can be heard often on XM Radio's Laugh Attack. Andrew will leave you laughing at him, yourself and the world around you.
Jessica
Jessica Williams
was born and raised in Barrie ON.  After graduating from Humber school of Comedy in 2004, she planted her roots in the Big Smoke.  She has performed stand up and improv comedy from New York City to Washago, ON.  Her comedy is a mix of innocence, vulgarity and silliness.  Enjoy!
JR
Justin Renwick's
stage career began behind the drum kit in the suburbs of Toronto. However, the lure of the microphone proved too hard to resist, and he's been honing his stand-up chops ever since on the stages of Toronto's Laugh Resort and Yuk Yuk's comedy clubs. With material skewing toward the observational and brief stops to his painfully awkward true life misadventures, Justin's act has a little something for everybody -- if, as he is convinced, what everybody wants is a little Justin.
Todd

Todd Van Allen
A veteran stand-up comic, Todd Van Allen draws on very relatable material that touches on current events, life at the office, and the hilarious differences between the big city and the small towns in which he grew up. Extremely quick-witted, Todd is an expert at making on-the-spot, astute and very funny observations.

Todd has performed at The Laugh Resort in Toronto, Absolute Comedy in Ottawa, The Improv in Hollywood, the Comix Café in Buffalo, The Cotton Club in Chicago, and House of Comedy in Hamilton. He has also been seen at Alt.dot COMedy Lounge at The Rivoli, Spirits, Club 54, and many other clubs across Southern Ontario, and Quebec.

Todd placed 1st in the first ever Funniest New Comedian in Canada competition in 1991 and proceeded to become a regular at various Yuk Yuk’s across Ontario.

Todd is a successful playwright, trained actor, improviser and sketch comedian and a graduate of Toronto’s The Second City Conservatory Program.

Medicine Show

The Medicine Show
If laughter is the best medicine then these two clowns are just what the doctor ordered.  Murray “Murph” Rodger and Kevin “Kevin” Knight are two pals who have recently combined their superpowers to bring big laughs to people of all sizes.  They successfully debuted their act last March on the main stage of Orillia’s Opera House and have since been invited to perform at various venues such as a summer festival, schools, churches, private parties and corporate functions.  What makes THE MEDICINE SHOW distinct is their use of outrageous costumes, hilarious accents, physical slapstick, original music, audience participation and clean humour suitable for all ages.  Please note:  they are not licensed doctors (yet).
Murph runs his own custom painting business in Orillia and likes to entertain his wife and two sons at home…every chance he gets…for as long as possible…until it’s very late.  They continue to encourage him to work longer hours painting.  Murph’s hobbies include shoveling snow and visiting his chiropractor.
Kevin is a carpenter in Newmarket, far enough away from Murph so as not to risk running into him more than is necessary. Kevin lives with his first wife and their two daughters in a home where the toilet seat remains down at all times.  Everyone is happier that way.
